So, what the heck is this Meal Sharing thing, anyways?
Adventuring in a group can have so many advantages like not dying as soon as you meet your first adult black dragon! Another one would be sharing the load when it comes time for grub. While it's true that, at one point or another during the adventure, you'll be the one slaving away to prepare the meal and cleaning up afterwards, it's just as true that the rest of the time you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the campfire. This Meal Sharing opportunity, of course, is entirely voluntary and you can, instead choose to bring all your own food.
The Game Masters in charge of this dungeon crawl are benevolent masters. They will take great care to balance out the work and supplies needed to take on such an heroic effort! This means that, while each party will be required to bring enough ingredients for the meal they are preparing (or forage from the nearby woods) to feed everyone around the campfire, every effort will be made to balance the amount of ingredients you must provide with the amount they are, in turn (get it? games... turns... Aww man, nobody ever laughs at my puns!), going to consume themselves. For meals with extra large adventuring groups, you may be teamed up with others to help you achieve such an epic task.
Potluck? Is that when you try your luck at opening a treasure chest?
Absolutely! You never know what you're going to find in some of those pots! Unless, of course, the Game Masters step in again and make people label them. Don't you just hate it when they do that? It takes the surpise out of it and there goes all the fun, too! Right? Well, the GM's are going to make you label them anyway. :(
However, if you wish to partake of the bountious portions before you, you must first provide something from you own pouch. Preferrably as much as your party would expect to consume themselves. Again, participation is entirely voluntary and you are free to merely gaze on wantingly at all the grub you're missing out on; but, please, no drooling on the food!
We do ask that you have your offering already prepared before coming to Camp. If the meal needs to be warmed, we ask that you do this in a crock pot, or some other similar high tech gadget. The kitchen should not be used to cook this food. This will keep the kitchen clean and avoid distractions during our heaviest play time.
