    2. Use the below Risk Matrix to help you complete further details within the File Note.

  • This risk assessment considers inherent risk which is the risk before controls are applied to mitigate therisk. It does not consider residual risk which is the risk after controls are applied to mitigate the risk. Thefollowing risk rating matrix is used to calculate the inherent risk level:

  • 3. Depending on the level of CDD required will help to decipher what information will need to be obtained. You are always required to have a good understanding of your client's circumstances and intentions when undertaking any activity.

    4. If you are suspicious about any activity and think that the client might be involved in money laundering or financing of terrorism, you are required to advise Andrew and John immediately. They will then advise of the next steps to take.
