  • This form is a tool to assist you in submitting your Midcycle Refresh Renovation Design for verification. Once the form is complete, follow the instructions provided to complete the process and submit for verification by the assigned Renovation Manager. By completing this form, you are confirming that all components align with Holiday Inn Express Design Requirements and Brand standards. Your selections should align with requirements outlined in your Refresh PIP.

     

    INSTRUCTIONS

    Upon completion of the IHG Refresh Design Verification Form:

    1. Download and save a PDF copy of your responses. 

    2. Upload the completed Design Verification form to IHG Design Connect.

    Holiday Inn Express estate is built on a strong identity, emphasizing consistency and a cohesive design approach to deliver a recognizable and high-quality guest experience. For this to be successful your hotel's design should align with the prototypical design standards.

    This reduces the time and effort required by you to submit your design or alternative vendors for review and approval. Saving you both time and fees. 

     

     

     

  • If you are not using IHG Contracted Vendors, the full submittal process is required.

    This Verification form is not applicable for Custom submissions. Additional Fees may apply.

  • Brand Hallmarks, Graphic Images & Key Design Elements

  • In the next section, confirm the placement of key brand identity elements, such as wall graphics, and upload photos of where they will be installed at your hotel. Refer to Design Connect for Brand Resources.

  • Graphic Wallcovering at Perch

  • Confirm that the regional wall map graphic is planned for installation in the designated perching area, as shown in the image below. 

    PRO TIP: Do not place tall furniture infront of graphic. Coordinate with your vendor for individual hotel needs.

    PRO TIP: Wall mounted items should not overlap the white lines of the cityscape. Coordinate with your vendor for individual hotel needs.

    PRO TIP: Graphic should be kept free of any obstructions (i.e. TVs, mirrors, phones, etc.). Coordinate with your vendor for individual hotel needs.

    Pay close attention to the LOCATION of the artwork shown in each image. Placement may vary by property. You will be selecting a replacement for that specific locations outlined. Your Renovation Manager will review the submitted photo to determine the suitability of the placement.     PRO TIP: Do not select the same artwork for multiple locations. Each piece should be unique to its designated area to maintain visual variety and support the overall design intent.
