Confidentiality Agreement
As a prospect and a potential member of Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. (also referred to as LAU), I acknowledge the importance of confidentiality with respect to the affairs of LAU. In light of this acknowledgment, I agree to keep confidential all information pertaining to the organization acquired during and after my time as a prospect, if selected to take part in the new member education process and if I become a member of Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc.

I particularly recognize the sensitivity of information regarding intake decisions and other strategic plans that may have impact on Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. In addition, I understand that I may be in a form or arena with other prospects and/or members of Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. where information shared and discussed must remain strictly confidential.

I agree to keep all fraternal information confidential, including but not limited to:
- Issues related to the organization’s legal, moral and regulatory responsibility for
  the oversight of statistical data
- Risk management information and litigation information
- Reviews of attitudes and opinions from those who are members of Latino
  America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc.
I understand that it is the responsibility of the National Executive Committee of LAU to address infractions of confidentiality by individual prospects/ members and that the Committee will investigate and ultimately take action to remedy any violations. Each situation brought for investigation will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

I also understand that if infractions of confidentiality by individual prospects / members continue, it is the expectation that the National Executive Committee will ask for the resignation of the individual member who has violated this confidentiality agreement. In the case of a prospect you will be automatically removed from the process and any dues paid will not be refunded.

I agree to resign my initiation / membership if requested by a majority vote of the National Executive Committee of Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. for any confidentiality infraction. I also acknowledge and understand due to the severity of the confidentiality infraction I can be removed from the process and or dismembered without notice or a vote if decided by the National Executive Committee of Latino America Unida Lambda Alpha Upsilon Fraternity, Inc. Any dues paid will not be refunded to the individual.
