Documentation & Application for Emphasis Cords/Medallions

  • WELCOME!
We encourage all students to participate in our Emphasis Cord & Medallion Program. Students who earn cords and medallions have received student awards and scholarships at colleges, had higher acceptance rates into honors colleges, and scored better on CLEP and AP exams for college credit.

This program allows students to graduate with emphasis in area(s) they may enjoy or want to pursue. Emphasis Cords/Medallions are available in multiple disciplines. View all PDFs of cords & medallions on our website.

    DOCUMENTATION:

You are encouraged to begin documentation in this form during your freshman year, adding coursework & experiences throughout high school.

Coursework outside of Quest may apply towards your goals; you can submit current progress for review anytime during your high school years. Deadlines for seniors will be announced each year in order to allow time to review your records before graduation.

If you are applying to colleges in your junior year or need these honors on your transcript before graduation, please work with our Student & Parent Life Coordinator to get your work reviewed quickly.

    REQUIRED ADVISING:
Please set up an Aspire meeting to begin your planning process for cords and medallions
. If you have completed prior work that you think may apply, please discuss this during the meeting.
